From the moment you meet Sommer, you feel instantly at ease, like you've known her forever. She has such a warm, inviting presence that makes being in front of the camera feel completely natural! She's not only incredibly personable, but also a true professional who knows exactly how to guide you into the perfect shot, while still making space for your ideas and personality to shine through (aka totally how I am).
What sets Sommer apart is her creative eye. Whether you're in a downtown cityscape, a quiet small town, open fields, or by the water, she knows how to work with every background to create something unique and beautiful! Her ability to think outside the box and adapt to any location is seriously impressive.
During our session, I had so much fun — Sommer makes the entire experience feel like you're just hanging out with a friend who happens to be insanely talented behind the camera. And the final photos? I was *obsessed*. I love her editing style and I couldn’t believe how perfectly she captured the vibe and emotion of the moment.

Sommer has been my family’s go to photographer for the past 5 years now! We have loved watching her grow and see our family of 4 grow, taking many of my top favorite photos of my family! The walls of our home are mostly covered in pictures from the many shoots we have done with Sommer. I could not recommend her enough! She makes my kiddos feel so comfortable and truly puts her clients first. She is so sweet, and easy to talk to, & quite literally would give you the shirt off her back. One of our shoots turned out to be COLD and when my daughter was shivering she took her sweater off and wrapped it around her! She also truly wants you to be obsessed with your pictures and will redo them as many times as it takes to make them as perfect as possible. She strives for excellence and has really pushed herself to learn more techniques to provide the absolute best service possible for her people!
